Hurja laulu synnyinseudulta

I've been listening a lot of Ultra Bra's (very good Finnish band that was very popular in late 1990's) songs and when I listened their song "Entäs nyt?" I got an inspiration to draw something like this and I drew. I drew this because of the part of the lyrics: "En hänelle ollut tästä maailmasta/Vaan talvipäivän lohdullinen valo/Ja hurja laulu synnyinseudulta". I recommend every one of you to listen this song, it's a great one!

I tried to draw kind of cold and bittersweet picture and I think I managed pretty well. I like her dress, I think it looks good. I should have concentrated better while drawing notes because they don't look very good there... but I'm glad that I didn't draw blue notes as I planned, that wouldn't have looked as good as black ones.

First I got an idea to draw Ukraine from APH because the lyrics of this song are actually a poem by Russian poet Anna Ahmatova. And because Ukraine once was a part of Russia I thought of drawing her but I didn't. I should draw her sometime because I haven't drawn her yet but a random girl suited better in this picture than Ukraine. I was thinking cold Russian winters and stuff while listening the song so that's why I got the idea about drawing Ukraine.
